AI Editorial Review
AI wrote the draft. You still have to put your name on it.
I review AI-assisted articles, press releases, newsletters, reports, and web copy before publication. I tighten the writing, check sourcing where included, and preserve the voice of the person or organization behind the piece.
Review My Draft →What I look for
Facts and sources
Unsupported claims, questionable statistics, missing attribution, and quotations that cannot be traced to the original material.
Structure and voice
Repetition, generic openings, weak conclusions, inflated language, and prose that sounds nothing like you.
I edit the draft as an editor. The service does not include AI detection scores or promises to pass detection tools.
What an edit changes
Illustrative sample created for this page; not client work. No wildlife statistics or quotations are used.
Before
“In today’s ever-changing digital landscape, our conservation organization is proud to announce the launch of its monthly newsletter, a testament to our unwavering commitment to fostering meaningful connections. This innovative publication will serve as a vital resource, keeping readers informed about our important work.”
- The opening delays the actual news.
- “Innovative” and “vital” add claims without support.
- The reader still does not know what the newsletter contains.
After
“Our new monthly newsletter will keep you informed about our conservation work.”
The edit makes the announcement clear and cuts the inflated language. Before publication, I would ask what the newsletter covers and how readers can subscribe. Those details belong in the copy once supplied.

Scope agreed in advance
Ongoing editorial support for articles, newsletters, releases, web copy, and reports. Volume and turnaround are defined before work begins.
These prices cover the stated word limits. I review the draft before confirming scope and cost. Extensive technical research, new interviews, and additional reporting are quoted separately. Claims that cannot be verified are flagged for resolution.
How it works
- Send the brief. Tell me the audience, purpose, word count, and deadline. Include the draft, source material, and examples of your voice when we arrange the review.
- Agree on scope. I confirm the review level, price, and delivery date before starting.
- Get the edited copy. You receive a clean version and marked edits. Fact-checking packages include source notes and unresolved factual flags; substantive edits include a short editorial memo.
An editor who knows the subject
I bring more than 25 years of writing and editing experience to conservation, hunting, fishing, and the outdoor industry. I also write marketing copy for southwest Montana real estate professionals. That background helps me ask the questions a generic cleanup service might miss.
